Planxadito's Puigcerdà

Opened on May 28th, Planxadito’s, the new Esquirol Group restaurant located in the heart of Puigcerdà’s Plaça dels Herois, has had a more than promising start. In just two and a half months, it has served more than 10,000 planxaditos, a figure that confirms the excellent reception from residents and visitors.

The high season has further reinforced these good results: in the last month, more than 3,700 people have passed through the restaurant, consolidating Planxadito’s as a point of reference in the heart of Puigcerdà.

The gastronomic offer combines quality products, creative recipes and agile service. At Clàssic’s, we find proposals that evoke traditional flavors, such as the sausages from Cerdanya, the traditional biquini or the Mallorcan sobrassada with brie cheese. At Irresistible’s, the combinations become tempting, with options such as the 100% beef burger with melted Urgèlia cheese, rocket and tomato; the mortadella planxadit with buffalo cheese and pesto sauce; or the Planxadet of the week, which changes every few days to surprise with new recipes.

For those looking for lighter options, Saludable’s offers fresh recipes such as the smoked salmon planxadit with cream cheese and rocket, or the avocado planxadit with buffalo mozzarella, tomato and pesto. The Dolço’s section invites those with a sweet tooth to enjoy sweet bites with Nutella, jams or quince with buffalo cheese, as well as homemade pastries such as chocolate cheesecake or lemon cake. The menu is completed with freshly squeezed natural juices, with refreshing combinations such as watermelon, orange and ginger or pineapple and, of course, the patatas bravas, which are a symbol of the Esquirol Group and which many consider the best in Cerdanya.

“We are very satisfied with these first months. The public has understood the concept perfectly and the response has been spectacular. Planxadito’s is a model with a long history and we do not rule out taking it to other areas”, says Edu Vidal, manager of the Esquirol Group.
